Update 3.00.0 Notes - The Savage Coast of Turan!
Update Notes for Update 3.00.0
**These notes do not necessarily reflect the final version that will be deployed on Live**
The Savage Coast of Turan PREVIEW!
Welcome to your first glimpse of new and exciting Savage Coast of Turan! As this update cycle will have loads of new content, we have decided to release the content slated for this update cycle in stages, in order for the dev team to receive more focused feedback and bug reports for each new area. In the coming weeks we will be adding more areas for testing to Testlive, so be sure to check the Testlive notes and Announcements frequently!
Today's update contains the first stage of content, which consists of a new group instance Ardashir Fort and a new raid instance Temple of Erlik. These can be accessed by speaking to the Fate npc, and choosing the option to teleport to the Savage Sword of Turan Expansion lobby. You can find the Fate npc standing outside of Tortage City, by the gate where you enter from the jungle.
Ardashir Fort
- This is a new level 80 group instance.
- Our aim was to make this as hard as the most difficult Khitai group instances.
Temple of Erlik
- This is a new level 80 raid instance.
- Our aim was to make this to be a bit easier than the T4 raids.

ADDITIONAL CHANGES
In addition to the new content we have also made a number of changes to existing content:
Field of the Dead:
- Adjusted level ranges and placement of mobs (travel should be easier).
- Adjusted the amount of xp and money you get from many quests.
- Made improvements to the quest and gameplay flow through the playfield.
- Added a number of new quests.
- Fixed a number of bugs.
Eiglophian Mountains:
- Adjusted level ranges and placement of mobs (travel should be easier).
- Adjusted the amount of xp and money you get from many quests.
- Made improvements to the quest and gameplay flow through the playfield.
- Added a number of new quests.
- Fixed a number of bugs.
Destiny quest Dungeons:
- We have revamped the gameplay in the level 30, 50, and 60 destiny quest instances (Blood Rite Subterrain, Ice Caves, and Blessed Caves).
- The boss encounters in all three instances have been redone and should be a lot more interesting and fun to play!
COMBAT
Combo Animations
This version contains the first pass of combo animation tweaks. We are still missing some very important code changes and additional tweaks for this to represent the final result for the 3.0 patch.
PVP
* If a player is killed in PvP they now have a chance to generate some money.
Blood and Glory
* Players will now drop 1 random resource, in addition to dropping a random item.
Minigames
* When you sign up for a minigame as a group or join a group while signed up, your group no longer will be disbanded when the minigame starts, but the player will be removed instead.
* Players are only removed from their group if they actually accept a minigame.
TESTLIVE ONLY
* Auto-equipping items given to you by Fate should work again.

COMBO SYSTEM CHANGES
* Hits during combo finishers are more accurately timed between the server and the client.
* Combo finishers will no longer prevent you from moving at any point. Moving will still abort the combo.
* We have changed how the damage distribution works for combos with multiple hits. This change makes sure each hit represents the invested time in animation up to each hit in the animation.

GENERAL
* There are now items in the Turan lobby that will give you either a quest or a teleport to the starting point for some of the new quests in Field of the Dead and Eiglophian Mountains. (Access the lobby by speaking to Fate, the leveling npc outside of Tortage city, and choosing the dialog option to teleport "To the Savage Coast of Turan Expansion Lobby.")
* Added clickable items to the lobby to begin the Destiny quests of all cultures, to assist you in testing the Destiny dungeon revamps.
* Ardashir Fort - some world design fixes and improvements.
* Temple of Erlik - fixes to world design, lighting, and some adjustments to gameplay.
NEW INSTANCES!
* You can now visit Dead Man's Hand and the Isle of Iron Statues, by accessing them via teleport items in the Turan lobby!
Dead Man’s Hand
This is a level 50-80 solo instance that will adjust to your level. For this instance we wanted to try something different - it is much more quest and story driven than other similar instances. Dead Man’s Hand is quite large and unrestricted with a good amount of optional content.
Isle of Iron Statues
This is a level 80 solo instance that should provide a challenge even for well geared characters.
